Together, we can make a difference

Since our founding in the early 1980s, Uniglobe has been committed to giving back to our local communities through in-kind, volunteer and financial support. For our first 25 years we supported the Easter Seals organization. With our expanding global footprint, we shifted our support to Plan International, whose mission is to advance the rights of children and equality for girls in countries around the world.

Uniglobe is proud to support a variety of local community fundraising efforts. Globally, we advocate for programs that provide basic life necessities such as clean water, disaster relief, shelter and education to lift girls, women and families out poverty in the world’s poorest regions.

Because I am a Girl

The Because I am a Girl initiative by Plan International is designed to transform girls’ lives through education. It recognizes the dramatic impact girls’ education can have on society by helping end the cycle of poverty. Uniglobe was a proud supporter from 2010 to 2018.

Schools for Refugees

Currently, Uniglobe supports Plan International's work to build schools in the Gambella region of Ethiopia. This area is home to more than 400,000 refugees from South Sudan; nearly half are children. Plan is working to build schools, train teachers and provide resources to educate kids and lift them from poverty to create brighter futures.

Climb, Ride, Walk

Throughout our 40-year history, Uniglobe members around the world have hiked the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, participated in RideLondon and climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, all to raise funds for Plan International

Local Communities

In addition to Uniglobe’s outreach worldwide, member agencies actively support their communities by addressing local causes that reflect their individual passions and connections. Together with local charitable partners, Uniglobe people proudly champion important issues like poverty, homelessness, disaster relief, cancer and much more.
